The End of an Error.

Yeah, I'm congratulating myself on such a witty title.  The fact that a million OTHER people have thought of it ... well, I don't CARE, haha!  Obama is going to be history very shortly.  And for that, I'm so happy!  How America saw fit to elect him once, let alone twice, will baffle me forever, especially since it also saw fit to replace the House, Senate, governorships, and state legislatures, with Republicans.  Whatever.

How the United States reacts to the "evil" Donald Trump, remains to be seen.  The loony left will cause problems tomorrow, but how serious, remains to be seen.  And we know the news media will respond with pettiness, bias, and -- what's the technical term? -- BITCHINESS!  Fine.  I mean, what else is new?  For eight years, George Bush let the media do its thing, and it got him nowhere.  Trump will fight, and get the same treatment.  Better to fight than just bend over and take it.

I'm not sure which I'm more excited about, Trump taking office, or Obama leaving.  Hard to say.  Both prospects are great.  I can't remember an exchange of power that has excited me as much as this one.

Ohhhhh, but Vegas, you don't know how Trump will do!  Aren't you worried that he could be a "loose cannon"?  Well, no.  We just had eight years of a loose cannon who virtually created Isis, had no foreign policy except to shoot at stuff here and there, to look tough, I guess.  He trades terrorists for deserters, bows to foreign leaders, raises the deficit, forces "affordable" health care down the throat of the public, does the "wave" with a dictator -- and has his picture taken in front of a mural of Che Guevera -- and refused to go to Margaret Thatcher's funeral.  THAT'S a loose cannon.  Before he was elected, he hung around with domestic terrorists, and had a "spiritual adviser" that damned America.  Let me explain something, to anyone who cares: No president in my lifetime has made me as upset and angry as Obama, and that includes LBJ and Nixon.  Even so, it would never occur to me to disrupt Obama's inaugurations, or do anything to interfere with the transfer of power.  Those on the right were unhappy, to say the least with Barack's election, but no one tried to mess with his taking power.  It's only the "tolerant" left that does that type of thing.

In any case, I am STOKED!  Protect our borders!  Keep potential terrorists OUT of America!  Lower taxes for individuals and businesses!  Help for our veterans!  A military that is beefed up!  Court appointees that don't make laws!  A president who works more than he plays!  And SO much more!

I am looking forward to an American president who doesn't apologize.  A president who fights against a biased media.  Someone who actually appreciates capitalism.

Trump will succeed.  That's as close to a fact as predicting the future can be.  Bye, bye, Obama, you anti-American a-hole!

Same for you, Michelle!

As for the how, we (the US) have historically preferred to have the President & Congress in opposition, we also tend to be more conservative the closer we get to home.

Next time someone advocates open borders to you ask them if they lock the door to their house, ever. Then ask why they don’t just leave it wide open with a light on all night long every night. I’ve found it to be a serious STFU moment for just about any lefty

Excellent argument. I would also ask them if they would be so in favor of open borders if those were potential Republican voters crossing over.

Actually better than not bad, Billary deported a ton in 2000 just because of the strong family values they bring with them & the likelihood they’d vote for Bush.

Talking about a president who works – Obama’s work rate over the past few weeks has been unprecedented.

No one could do worse than Obama has done, NO ONE. The bar has been set so low that Donald Trump could not do any worse even if he tried! The trail of corruption, lies, clandestine meetings, unconstitutional executive orders, press manipulation, regulation, high taxation, weaponization of government and increasing of the deficit are such that not even an elementary student could do any worse than Obama has done. I am confident that Donald Trump will do a superior job and that our country will prosper under his leadership.

Carter did, by a healthy margin too.

granted Carter was more honest in his Presidency, but he was arguably the worst ever with Grant for his only real competition. Andrew Jackson & Lincoln both did far better, even FDR was unarguably better… Johnson was not what I’d call a very good President, but he’s no where near as bad as Carter was at the job. Nixon was a really good President & he proved it by taking it on the chin like a man & stepping down to avoid disgracing the nation… Bill could have taken a page from Nixon. Carter was a very good person & arguably one of the finest former Presidents, I have a hard time saying that now after his re-entry into the political discussion, but his deep devotion to Christian charity cannot be disputed. It’s pretty shitty to talk smack about a sitting President as a former.

It’s amazing how those “tolerance-loving”, liberal Democrats are always the ones resorting to instigating violence and disruption while continually whining about how destructive, INTOLERANT, and divisive the Republicans are. And then if they have the audacity to defend themselves, they’re racists, misogynists, or worse.
    .
Obama was elected because he’s (sort of) black. That’s it. He was LITERALLY the least qualified candidate of the 17 main candidates that ran in 2008. Even Allan Keyes had more experience and had actually run for POTUS at least once before. What we “learned” was that minorities will vote for minorities simply because they are there, not because they’re qualified, and that the so-called “white guilt” is a very real thing that Americans have been conditioned to by the media and Hollywood, by making that theme universal, ubiquitous even, throughout their programming.

Minorities will vote for liberal minorities, but fight tooth and nail against conservative minorities.

“No president in my lifetime has made me as upset and angry as Obama..” I agree with you 100%, Vegas. This is a GREAT day today! I am so relieved. I will be baffled forever, also, over the fact that Obama was elected twice but fuall up above there made some excellent points in the second paragraph.

Obama was elected and then re-elected but, I believe like Clinton, it was fraudulent.

        Yes, fraudulent and PAID for.

Yes, I’m sure that you would find George Soros money if Obama’s campaign were dissected.
